Koomerang - Falls Creek

The Falls Creek accommodation consists of two separate apartments, each consisting of two bedreooms with 4 bunk beds in each and a separate bathroom for each bedrooom. They share a common stairwell, drying room and store room. There is a balcony for each unit with magnificent views looking up to the summit runs.

Location:

 The Imaj flats on the Falls Creek Road (No. 17 on the village map). Koomerang has apartments 5 and 6  in the second building of the Imaj flats, called Sapporo. Walk up from Falls Creek Road up a flight of galvanised stairs past the first Imaj building the the front of the Sapporo building.

When you go skiing, you can either walk up the Village bowl or ski down the road to the Gully chair.

Parking and getting to the lodge:

Parking is in the car parks at the bottom of the village on the Bogong High Plains Road. First, unload at the oversnow transport terminal then follow the resort 4WD to the carpark, park the car and get a lift back to the terminal in the 4WD.  Purchase a ticket for the oversnow, which will then take you to the Imaj stairs. If there is no snow on the village roads, a 4 WD taxi is used instead of an oversnow vehicle.
