The previous “quaint chalet” for eight people was razed to the ground  to make way for our beautiful new lodge which is complete and ready for the 2015 season.

The new lodge sleeps up to 18 people and has a lovely open plan communal area complete with fireplace. There is also a great mezzanine area for watching TV.   We are very proud of our new lodge and hope that members will make great use of it way into the future.

Location

From the front door, you can ski/walk to along the Davenport Road to the Big D beginners run. Lift tickets can be purchased here. Bus stop number 6 is at the front of the General Store, and you can take the bus to Central Hotham. If there is enough snow, you can ski down the Davenport Access trail to the bottom of the Village quad chair.

Parking and getting to the lodge

You can park for a limited time on the Great Alpine Road near a set of steps about 50 metres from the side door of the lodge. Check the parking signs carefully. After unloading, you need to drive down the road towards Dinner Plain and can park on the side of the road or in a car park. You then catch the bus back to the General Store.
